Alt Tab
Alt+Tab is a keyboard shortcut allowing to switch between all the open windows in Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and other OS (operating systems).
You can use this shortcut by pressing the ALT key and the TAB key at the same time (press the ALT key first).

In Microsoft Windows
Alt + tab: it moves left to right in the open windows
Alt + Shift + tab: it moves right to left in the open windows.
Alt + Esc: does the same as Alt + tab
Switch between Tabs
You can also switch between open tabs of the active window, a web browser for example, by using Ctrl + tab shortcut.
In Linux
Same combination of keys than in Microsoft Windows. You don’t have to change your habits.
In Mac OS
You can switch between open programs with Cmd + Tab.
Switch between different windows of the same application
You can use the shortcut Cmd + ` to do that on MacOS.
You can change this shortcut byt going to System Preferences → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts.
